R.I.P. pre-renovation bathroom. I'd also like to take this moment to tell you about a little discovery that may help some of you folks with cats like Bella (whose tail is featured in the lower left hand corner). You see, Bella, like many felines, liked to drink straight from the tap...especially if it meant waking me up at 5am to turn the water on. If you wake up at 5am, this may not be a problem, but I do not. Bella also likes to drink out of cups. I put one and one together, filled up a cup, and placed it under the faucet. Low and behold, it worked: Bella now drinks out of the cup, instead of waking me up. And this, my friends, was one of my great innovations of 2004.

2005: The bathroom is now rennovated, and a savier feline taught bella to drink out of a bowl. Let this be a lesson folks: there's always someone around the corner who's going to out do you. The trick is that if you confidently don't know what you're doing, no one will ever beat you to the next step...or for that matter, even care what the next step is.
