Perhaps Mr. Hansley will contribute a piece about Lucy. If he doesn't, I'm certain he would say that a border collie's intelligence is only surpassed by his own. In any case, I'm usually intimidated by animals more intelligent than I, but found Lucy to be quite patient and charming. This was a commissioned piece, and took place on the porch of Lee Hansley Gallery in Raleigh, NC--one of Lucy's residences.
